Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 25, 2009. Beloved husband of Monique Chartier. Loving father of Michael, and Tonya Anderson-Penfold (David). Dear brother of Raymond (Barbara), Joyce Jones (Harold), Brenda Denomy (Peter), and brother-in-law of Joseph Jean Chartier, Pierre Chartier (Deborah) and Lise Chartier. Forever friend of Russell Bobbitt (Claudette). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), Nepean on Thursday, May 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church-Fallowfield (15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean) on Friday, May 29 at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their excellent care.
